      • New Hour Counter Page
      • Enhanced report engine with the first fleet report

     

    UI/UX Enhancements:
      • New pages: “Routes,” “Backup Manager,” “Storage Areas,” “Import,” “Export”
      • Additional pages: “Crew & Guest Database: Reports,” “Enter Hours,” “Control: Entered Hours,” “History Details,” “Reminders”
      • Updated Periodic Task History dialog under the “History” tab in component details

     

    SBA Enhancements:
      • Added NFC functionality, including track rounds for mobile
      • New Round NFC lock mode and management permissions
      • Web NFC management view and updated SBA API for NFC synchronization

    • Consistent “LastEdited” and “CreatedTime” values on item edits
    • Accurate “State” and “Responsible” fields in the Snag List details
    • Fixed item quantity changes on “Check in” and “Check out” pages
    • Removed “Customize” button from Muster List overview
    • “Modify snag list State/Workflow” button now hidden per permissions

    Welcome to ‘IDEA On The Horizon’, where we take a look at what is on the development roadmap for the IDEA Universe over the coming month, and what to look forward to in the latest release.

    Here’s what is on the horizon at IDEA Data Solutions for October 2024 as we build towards our 2024.4 release to be launched at METStrade.

      IDEA FLEET
      • Snag List: Integration and cloud authentication 
      • Document integration 
     

    Request a document, then view its current state within the ‘File Requests’ tab located down the side menu. Once a document’s state has been fulfilled, you will be able to download it.

    IDEA YACHT Web
      • New UI/UX review on web pages 
     

    Tabs at the top of the ‘Reminders’ page have been given icons to provide a bolder appearance, while also aligning with the iconography seen down the side of the menu bar. The ‘Address Book’ pages now have two columns for the ‘Main Details’ section. You’ll also be able to use the select tool for drop down menus. 

    SBA Mobile and Web
      • New functionality: Change Movement spare quantity during receiving spare on board 
     

    View the current state within the ‘Spare Part Workflow’. By clicking on ‘Workflow Activity’ to run, there are now two options ‘Confirm’ and ‘Feedback’. Change the quantity of spare parts you have ordered. It will show you the amount you originally filled in, and will now present you with a ‘New Quantity’ option. You can make these changes on the web and on the SBA mobile app.

    Fixes and Improvements:
    • Speed up SBA ‘Maintenance System‘ module 
    • Add permission for the ‘“Map view’“ in Snag List 
    • Follow order from ‘“Deliverables’“ section when printing reports 
    • Fix issue where iOS sometimes triggers NFC scanning twice 
    • Prevent hour counter updates triggering unnecessary tasks in the mobile app 
    • Fix task update issue during rounds on the IDEA YACHT mobile app with the same hour counter 
    • Resolve issue with generating the ‘“Consumption Report’“ when specific filters are applied 
    • Fix permissions for ‘“Periodic Tasks’“ and ‘“One-time Tasks’“ tabs on the component details page 
    • Add a filter on ‘“Inventory List’“ to show only items with a quantity greater than 0 
    • Correct hour counter issue when adding entry point value from the past

    IDEA YACHT software update 2024.3 introduces several exciting new features and improvements. A new 360 Photo Viewer allows users to view photos of the vessel through different build stages for better maintenance. A system setting now enforces a budget for purchase orders. The mobile app includes an extended layout drawing module, new layout filters, and the ability to add documents and create Snag List entries during rounds.

    Last week the IDEA Product Development team descended on Düsseldorf to work collaboratively on projects they had identified that could improve both the way we work internally and our market-leading yacht management software.

    IDEA YACHT Release 2024.2.4

    IDEA YACHT software update 2024.2.4 introduces several new features and improvements. A new 360 Photo Viewer allows users to view photos of the vessel through different build stages for better maintenance. A system setting now enforces a budget for purchase orders. The mobile app includes an extended layout drawing module, new layout filters, and the ability to add documents and create Snag List entries during rounds. Fixes address issues with date display, search result views, notification generation for snag list modifications, and calendar birthday displays. The update also includes upgrades for Gradle plugins and addresses NFC tag license constraints.
