IDEA Data Solutions returns to METSTRADE in 2026 with something a little different. This year marks a major milestone, 25 years of IDEA, and to celebrate we’re bringing the IDEA Universe to the Superyacht Zone: a dedicated 42m² stand, number 08.361, designed to show the power of true industry collaboration.
The IDEA Universe is built around a simple idea: no single solution operates in isolation. Modern yacht operations rely on a connected ecosystem of software, hardware, consultancy, supply and services. At METSTRADE 2026, visitors can experience how these pieces come together in practice, through a carefully curated group of strategic partners whose solutions integrate with and complement one another.
We’re delighted to be exhibiting once again with our long-term strategic partner Spectro | Jet-Care, alongside Dock 07, EMS Yachting, Panoblu and YOT.
“METSTRADE 2026 is a milestone moment for IDEA. Celebrating 25 years gives us a chance not only to reflect on how far we’ve come, but to demonstrate where we’re going. The IDEA Universe stand is all about connection – bringing together the partners, technologies, and expertise that power modern yacht operations, and showing how collaboration creates real, measurable value for our vessels and fleets.”
One stand, connected workflows
From procurement and technical supply to onboard systems, 360° visualisation, consultancy, and performance and fluid monitoring, the stand acts as a central hub where workflows connect, information flows and collaboration becomes tangible.
It’s a chance not just to showcase individual solutions and technology, but to show how they work together to simplify operations, improve transparency and deliver better outcomes for owners, crew, shipyards and management teams.
In our partners’ words
This shared approach is reflected by the partners joining IDEA on the stand.
“Metstrade 2026 will be a special event for Spectro | Jet-Care as we celebrate 50 years providing analysis services to the marine, aviation and industrial sectors. That combined with IDEA’s 25 year anniversary we are excited to continue to strengthen our partnership of five years and look forward to celebrating in style in Amsterdam.”
“We’re excited to be exhibiting alongside IDEA Data Solutions at METS this year. There’s a real benefit to bringing innovative technology together on a shared stand, and the conversations that creates are more valuable for everyone. Panoblu delivers complete 360° situational awareness, thermal and visible light, day and night, from a single hull-mounted unit. No blind spots, no trade-offs.”
“We’re incredibly excited to be heading to METSTRADE with IDEA to showcase YOT & FUSE Platform, and to use this milestone as a chance to connect with partners and clients as we count down the final six months.”
“EMS Yachting specializes in technical spare parts and consumables supply for the superyacht industry, with a strong focus on fast and reliable procurement support. Together with IDEA Data Solutions and the Direct Order integration, we’re helping simplify and accelerate the purchasing process for yachts and management companies worldwide. We’re excited to present this collaboration together at METS during IDEA’s 25th anniversary year.”
“We’re excited to be part of the IDEA stand and to showcase Dock 07 alongside such strong industry partners. Events like this are a great opportunity to connect with the market, exchange ideas and demonstrate how collaboration drives innovation across the maritime sector.”
More room for real conversations
A larger stand means more room for live demonstrations, partner showcases and conversations that go beyond product features into real operational challenges and solutions. Visitors can explore integrated workflows, see live use cases and talk directly with the teams behind each solution.
Two anniversaries, one Gin & Tonic
And of course, it wouldn’t be METSTRADE with IDEA without a chance to bring everyone together. We’re hosting one of our famous Gin & Tonic receptions at 4pm on Wednesday 18 November: an open invitation for partners, clients and friends of IDEA to unwind, connect and celebrate both 25 years of IDEA and 50 years of Spectro | Jet-Care.
Above all, METSTRADE 2026 is about people: bringing the superyacht industry together to share ideas, strengthen partnerships and celebrate two major anniversaries in style.
