Integrated Software Management (ISM) made easy
Guided by industry experts, IDEA recently started the journey to develop digital ISM management. The goal was to replace printed forms and PDF documents with simple, digitalised forms, checklists and standard operating procedure’s (SOP’s).
How does it work?
IDEA creates fully responsive digital versions of required documents such as forms, checklists and manuals and uploads them to the IDEA YACHT system and app. This makes it really easy for crew to submit the relevant information using a smartphone or tablet. All data is saved within the system and available wherever and whenever needed. It can also be exported in a format that is recognised by authorities.
For IDEA’s Fleet Management Portal (FMP), documents can be rolled out to individual vessels or fleet wide. Documents submitted by crew can be viewed and archived directly within the fleet system, ensuring they are kept secure and current.
The upcoming release of IDEA YACHT 2202.01, will include the option to build, maintain and manage digital forms, both within the system and app.
