IDEA Release 2026.2.4 – The IDEA YACHT App reimagined
IDEA Release 2026.2.4 continues our focus on consistency, compliance, and fleet‑wide control, with a major IDEA YACHT mobile UI upgrade, new maintenance approval workflows, and expanded ISM form management within IDEA FLEET. Alongside these updates, we’ve delivered a range of usability improvements and performance fixes across Web and Mobile.

1. IDEA YACHT Mobile: Unified UI/UX Design System
The IDEA YACHT Mobile App has been migrated to a unified, theme‑based UI/UX design system. This brings consistent components, spacing, colours, and typography across the entire app, with accessibility improvements including light and dark mode. Visual stability and performance have also been improved, particularly on lower‑end devices.
2. IDEA YACHT Maintenance: Approval Workflow for Performed & Deferred Tasks
A new four‑eyes approval process has been introduced for maintenance history and deferrals. Maintenance records now require HOD approval before being added to official history logs, with full support for comments, rejections, and rework loops between reporters and approvers. New permissions and settings allow management to control approval rights, editing access, and bypass rules. Dedicated overview pages and dashboard widgets highlight pending approvals, with status visibility available in IDEA YACHT Mobile.
3. IDEA FLEET: ISM Forms Management
IDEA FLEET now supports full ISM Forms management, including form creation, categorisation, and fleet‑wide distribution to vessels. Fleets gain a centralised overview of completed and in‑progress forms, with support for Word template rendering, revision control, and testing workflows. Fleet‑managed forms sync to vessels as read‑only templates, ensuring consistency across the fleet.
4. Additional Enhancements
This release also includes a new snaglist map and list split view for improved navigation, alongside multiple UI, performance, and stability improvements across Web and Mobile. Bug fixes and refinements based on customer and Professional Services feedback have been applied throughout the platform.
