Global Presence at Prominent Yachting Events
IDEA Data Solutions made its mark on the global stage by actively participating in key events that shape the yachting industry. From the Palma Boat Show and Monaco Yacht Show to Metstrade, our team was not only present but engaged with industry leaders and enthusiasts. We were delighted to join our strategic fluid-analysis partner Spectro | Jet-Care at the shows and continue to develop our integrations and ensure that we provide the best all-round yacht management solution. Our footprint extended to Antibes and Cannes, where we connected with stakeholders and showcased our innovative solutions.
Welcoming New Talent
A company is only as strong as its team, and we were fortunate to welcome exceptional individuals to the IDEA team. Annika and Karl joined our dynamic sales team, bringing their expertise to further enhance our client relationships. Supanya joined the professional services team, ensuring our clients receive top-notch support. Daniel took charge of our IT, Ionel and Anton strengthened our development team, and Mike (hi!) assumed responsibility for our marketing endeavors. Together, they join our formidable collective propelling IDEA Data Solutions forward.

Recognizing the importance of staying at the forefront of industry trends, our team embarked on a journey to Miami for Volaris’ Activate event. This experience equipped us with invaluable insights into implementing industry-leading values. It reinforces our commitment to our brand promise of “First Time Right” and maintaining the exceptionally high standards that our clients expect from IDEA Data Solutions.
IDEA YACHT: A Year of Striking Advancements
Our flagship product, IDEA YACHT, witnessed significant advancements throughout the year. The 2023.1 update introduced the revolutionary IDEA Snag List module, bringing a new level of collaboration and flexibility to our suite of products. Whether tracking to-do items across different departments, documenting refits, or managing warranty claims, IDEA Snag List empowers users with unprecedented control.
Updates to our Budget and Finance modules cam in our second release of the year, an enhanced global search feature, and continued development of the IDEA YACHT APP marked our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions. The app now includes notifications, Snag List, and Standard Operating Procedures, among other functionalities. Release 2023.3 brought a new update pilot streamlines the process of automatically updating software for non-replicating installs, ensuring our clients always have access to the latest features.
Furthermore, our NFC Tags became even more user-friendly, simplifying rounds and making operational tasks more efficient for yacht crews.
