2025.2 Key changes
IDEA FLEET 2025.2 revolutionises the management of vessel and crew certificates. With a seamless workflow between both the IDEA YACHT and IDEA FLEET platforms.
Alongside taking control of roles and permissions for initiating and approving certificate updates we’ve ensured that you can synchronize between onboard and management systems.
We’ve also adapted our ISM module for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compliance oversight to ensure that your fleet is always complaint.

Certificate Management Workflow
Certificate Types
This function allows management companies, shipyards or those overseeing the fleet to maintain a Master Certificate List, which includes:
- Statutory certificates
- Class certificates
- Crew qualifications
- Operational permits
Each certificate entry may be applicable to one or multiple vessels. Not all vessels require the same set of certifications.
Initiation and Approval of Certificate Updates
Our software suite works together to ensure you can update certificates through both platforms. Certificate updates can be initiated by:
- Onboard Crew via the IDEA Yacht platform, or
- Fleet Management via the IDEA Fleet platform.
ISM Module Capabilities
The ISM Module within IDEA FLEET offers a centralized view and management functionality for the entire fleet’s certification and compliance status.
KPI Monitoring
- Real-time overview of KPIs for all vessels.
- Visual dashboard displaying current certification states and alerts for expiring or missing certificates.
Manage Vessel Master Fleet Tab
Within the “Manage Vessel Master Fleet” tab, users can:
- Create and update the Master Certificate List.
- Assign certificate templates to applicable vessels.
Vessel-Level Certificate Management
On each vessel’s “Certificates” page, users can:
- Add new certificates.
- Assign certificates from the Master List.
- View and update certificate states.
- Synchronize certificate data between the vessel and management system.
- Attach supporting documents (PDFs, scans, etc.) to each certificate record.
IDEA YACHT Integration
Crew using IDEA YACHT can:
- View shared fleet certificates.
- Use fleet-wide templates as local certificates during daily operations.
- Access certificate metadata and supporting files.
Certificate Details and Synchronization
In the certificate detail popup:
- Users can view the current certificate status.
- See the related “Management Master Certificate Entry.”
- Perform actions such as renewals, expirations, file uploads, and change requests.
