As the countdown to METSTRADE 2026 continues, we’re introducing each of the partners joining us on the IDEA Universe stand in the Superyacht Zone. Next up is Panoblu, the team bringing complete 360° situational awareness to the bridge.
The IDEA Universe is built on a simple belief: no single solution works in isolation. Modern yacht operations depend on a connected ecosystem of software, hardware, supply and services, and our 42m² stand at RAI Amsterdam brings that ecosystem together under one roof to mark 25 years of IDEA. Alongside Spectro | Jet-Care, Dock 07, EMS Yachting and YOT, Panoblu adds a crucial piece of the picture: seeing everything around the vessel, all the time.
Who are Panoblu?
Panoblu designs and builds panoramic hybrid camera systems for superyachts and commercial vessels, made in Europe. Rather than relying on several pan-tilt-zoom cameras that can only look in one direction at a time, Panoblu gives crew a single, continuous 360° view with no blind spots.
The system comes in two core forms. Combined, they deliver round-the-clock coverage from one unit, with an optional skyward thermal add-on for awareness of drones and helicopters overhead.

Built for real operations
Panoblu is designed for the moments that matter most on board: night passages, poor visibility, tight manoeuvres in port and long hours at anchor. Features such as Range Awareness Display provide true distances to nearby vessels and hazards directly in the live view, while dedicated solutions support man overboard response and COLREGS Rule 5 lookout obligations. The system streams over the vessel LAN to a browser-based interface, with role-based access levels for crew, owners and guests, and ONVIF compatibility for integration with existing onboard systems.
