IDEA Release 2026.2.6 – Hours of Rest comes to IDEA FLEET

IDEA Release 2026.2.6 continues our focus on improving operational visibility and control across vessel and fleet environments. This update introduces enhanced Hours of Rest oversight within IDEA FLEET, deeper integration between mobile workflows and onboard operations, and continued improvements across maintenance, forms, and finance processes. Alongside these updates, we’ve delivered refinements to usability and workflow efficiency across Web and Mobile.

1. IDEA FLEET: Hours of Rest –  Review entered hours and generate reports synced to IDEA YACHT

Hours of Rest management is now fully integrated into IDEA FLEET, providing a complete overview of crew compliance across vessels. Fleet teams can review submitted hours, generate reports, and ensure consistency between fleet-level oversight and onboard records in IDEA YACHT. This strengthens compliance processes while giving managers greater visibility into crew working patterns.

2. IDEA FLEET: What’s New – Get all the latest updates in IDEA FLEET with our new pop up notifications.

A new “What’s New” feature introduces in-platform notifications within IDEA FLEET, ensuring users stay informed about the latest updates and improvements. This helps teams quickly understand new capabilities and reduces friction in adopting new features across the fleet.

3. IDEA Finance: Improvements and external provider integrations

Enhancements to IDEA Finance introduce improved workflows and expanded integrations with external providers – Centtrip and Soldo. These updates strengthen financial processes, enable more connected systems, and improve efficiency in managing onboard and fleet-level financial data.

4. IDEA YACHT: Storage area enhancements – Map-based storage layer definition with area drawing and color customisation

Storage management in IDEA YACHT has been expanded with new map-based functionality. Users can now define storage areas visually, with support for area drawing and colour customisation. This creates a clearer and more intuitive representation of onboard storage, helping crew locate and manage items more efficiently.

5. IDEA YACHT Mobile:  Superyacht Spares QR integration for shipment scanning, item matching, storage assignment, and PO updates

The IDEA YACHT Mobile app now integrates with Superyacht Spares QR workflows. Crew can scan shipments, match items, assign storage locations, and update purchase orders directly from mobile devices. This improves inventory accuracy, speeds up onboard processes, and reduces manual input.

6. Additional Enhancements

This release also includes a range of improvements across maintenance workflows, forms, and reporting:
  • Enhanced maintenance approval workflows with multi-level validation, comments, and notifications
  • Bulk approval capabilities for faster task processing
  • Improved system settings for task comment behaviour
  • Expanded forms functionality, including duplication and extended date field options
  • Fleet-wide reporting capabilities with dynamic vessel inclusion
